Mexicane Cola is a new drink from Maine Root Handcrafted Beverages that was launched in 2011 at the Expo East in Baltimore. The drink name is a play on the country Mexico and Cane sugar (one of the ingredients). Maine Root has been making sodas since 2003 and including Mexicane Cola they now have 11 sodas in total. The cane sugar used in Mexicane Cola is 100% Fair Trade .
