The Pop Shoppe Cola is one of many flavours made under the Pop Shoppe brand. The drinks are from Canada and was first made in 1969. The company hit hard times at the start of the 1980s and went out of business in 1983.
In 2004 Burlington businessman Brian Alger re-established The Pop Shoppe brand.
In 2012 the company switched from using high fructose corn syrup to cane sugar.
