About the Drink
Vita Cola is a drink that was originally produced in (the former) East Germay. The drink was first seen in 1957 and became very popular in it’s peak. With the fall of the Berlin wall, many western brands of cola flooded into the former East of Germany and sales of the drink rapidly went downhill.
However, recently there has been a large increase in “Ostalgie”, where people are nostalgic for former eastern products and Vita Cola has made a strong comeback.
